![]() I would have loved to see Theresa and Bronwyn having a real conversation about how Theresa dealt with Sandro's treatment of her for the first year and a half of their marriage. ![]() There wasn't really any meaningful dialogue with them. They were just hanging out and sympathizing with Bronwyn. I felt like it was a distraction and didn't really enhance the story. Usually, I like it when characters from other books in the series pop up, but there was too much of them in this one. I noticed that a lot of reviewers enjoyed the connection between Bryce and characters from the first book. There seemed to be a lot of meandering going on. The chemistry between Bronwyn and Bryce was great, but there was something about the execution that led me to think it needed a good content edit. ![]() The premise was interesting, but there was a lot of going around in circles and too much repetition. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the first. I feared the second book wouldn't be as good as the first, but I hoped that it would be as good or better. I preordered "A Husband's Regret" with a little bit of trepidation and a lot of anticipation. ![]() I read the first book, "The Unwanted Wife" like eight times. ![]()
